Projects / Urban planning & accessibility / Castelbuono (PA)
Drafting of the town's accessibility plan: survey of barriers and design of accessible routes in the historic centre.
The accessibility plan identifies barriers in Castelbuono's public buildings and urban spaces and proposes the works needed to make them usable by everyone.
It addresses motor, sensory and cognitive disabilities: tactile paths, raised crossings, ramps, stair lifts, reserved parking and accessible toilets, with an action sheet for each area.
